Buffalo Milk Cocktail Recipe

Buffalo Milk is a chocolate, coffee, and and banana flavored specialty drink created by "Doug's at Two Harbors" bartender Michael Hoffler (Doug's is now the Harbor Reef Restaurant). Today the Buffalo Milk cocktail is available at many of Catalina's bars and restaurants.

Recipe #1

- Half shot of Creme de Cocoa
- Half shot of Kahlua
- Half shot of Creme de Banana
- Full shot of Vodka
- Half and Half
- Ice
- Whipped Cream (topping)
- Nutmeg (garnish)
- Banana slice (garnish)

- fill a hurricane glass with ice cubes
- add vodka and the three liqueurs
- add half and half until the glass is full
- pour into a blender and blend until smooth
- Pour back into the hurricane glass
- Top with whipped cream
- sprinkle with nutmet
- garnish with a banana slice

Recipe #2

- 1 ounce of vodka
- 1 ounce Tia Maria Kahlua or other coffee liqueur
- 1 ounce creme de bananes
- 1.5 ounce dark creme de cacao
- 2 ounces of milk

- fill old fashioned glass with ice cubes
- add vodka and the three liqueurs
- add milk until glass is full
- pour into a blender and blend until smooth
- Pour back into the old fashioned glass and serve
